Memories....

I stole this post from my awesome friend!!!!!

Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember....next, re-post these instructions on your blog and let people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses. Let's hear them...

ps-if no one has any memories with me....I'll feel like a lay-hoo-ser! So please share!

Oh Rachel, you crack me up. I remember you wanting to go to the mall to buy stuff for your hair and I wouldn't let you. Then I remember you wearing a lamp shade on your head and posing for pictures. You were always a crack up.

I remember you calling us over at Canterwood #6 and telling us to come over to your old place at La Jolla. We did and you were standing there in a wedding dress! Way to drop an "I'm engaged" bombshell. =)

So many memories, from so many years. Sleeping under our table in college for sure, P.M. Dawn and New Mexico, 2nd grade races where you beat all the boys and they had to chase US because of the victory, your awesome shaking car in high school, making me go to the 10 year reunion... at which I had a wonderful time, letting me crash at your house in Provo, so I could sleep between EFY sessions, and so many more. We have known eachother SOOOOO long, and I am thankful for it.

"Hi Jess, wanna donut?"

How 'bout that pappy smurf?

Miss you. Looks like you are doing well with your four beautiful children. If you ever make your way back down to AZ, swing by and say hello!

Hmmm, well, there's you working at the boat docks in San Diego where we were roommates, six of us on our own little mats in a one bedroom apartment. We would roller-blade on the boardwalk at night, tried surfing, went to a few bad stake dances, and I dated a guy off of a dare you gave me to ask him to dance. Did that make sense??? What other crazy stuff did we do?

The memory that stands out in my head was you singing "I can bring home the bacon..." in the auditorium at some concert somewhere. So funny! At least I hope that was you... or else my memory is worse than I thought.

Hey Rach, the memory that just popped into my head was when we'd go running together all around Provo (in the good old La Jolla days,) trying to look as good as possible. I remember crossing at the intersections and us chanting "run like a gazelle!" Yeah, I'm sure we looked pretty hot.....

I remember us both crying and talking in the car outside the church building in Connecticut. That's where I felt we became more than sisters...friends. Love ya Fordever sis!! Jo

Hey Rachel...One memory that sticks out for me is my freshman year, spring semester in the band, when your dad was directing...we were doing a song where there were no flute parts but a ton of percussion parts and I got the rather noisy task of clanging the cymbals together. I can't remember what you were playing, its been so long, but you did help me play my part in unfamiliar territory! If I never thanked you, I am now...thanks!!! :-)
